'In 2022 and 2023, Epic Motion pictures intends to remove absent investors with minimal investment and or participation. Under the previous brand investors and members were not vetted for a company fit.  A new normal will be implemented in 2022.  Many industry standards for health and safety during the pandemic will remain permanent, and shoots will take more time and cost more money than they did a year ago.  As new guidelines came out, producers were able to estimate the cost of producing films during COVID-19. They even modified scripts to increase social distancing and cut costs. In the end, the guidelines still added about one million dollars to the production or a 25% increase in cost. An investor or studio underwriting a film must approve a one million dollar increase, but producers are having difficulty getting an increased budget. In 2022 and beyond, Epic motion pictures hired actors will now obtain equity in our films in exchange for lower salaries or no salary at all.

A licensed casting agent will now handle all casting instead of our director, producer, and staff.  Actor contracts will be non-negotiable and actors must have agents.  Investor membership will require a minimum entry fee and annual membership dues from all LLC members to assist in overhead costs and taxes.  Meetings and auditions will remain online via zoom and Facetime Table readings will also be performed via live video. This will reduce travel and housing costs and reduce the risk of infections from the virus.  We project a theatrical return by 2023. In the meantime, our distribution will focus on streaming with Amazon, Hulu, Epic Plus, and Tubi.  Epic motion pictures have eliminated film production deadlines and dates. We will complete projects at the pace conditions allow.
